TouchBerry Pi 7": industrial HMI panel PC with Raspberry Pi and built-in I/O
The TouchBerry Pi 7" is an industrial panel PC from Industrial Shields: a Raspberry Pi behind a 7-inch capacitive touchscreen (1024 x 600, 900 nits), with 10 I/O of its own (3 digital inputs, 2 analog inputs and 5 digital outputs), Gigabit Ethernet and a UPS for safe shutdown. It runs Linux, so the HMI can be a Node-RED dashboard, a Python application or a browser. It suits operator panels, machine HMIs and small control tasks next to a PLC.
You are viewing the CORE version: 4 GB RAM, IP20 front, no expansion board.

What software runs on the TouchBerry Pi 7"?
It ships with Linux preinstalled. Most HMIs are built as Node-RED dashboards, Python applications or a full-screen browser. Connect by SSH to 10.10.10.20 (eth0).
Can it control a machine without a PLC?
For simple tasks, yes: it has 3 digital inputs, 2 analog inputs and 5 digital outputs, driven from Bash or Python. For more I/O, pair it with a Raspberry PLC or an ESP32 PLC over Ethernet or RS-485.
Is the front IP65?
The CORE version has a standard IP20 front. The FLEX version offers an IP65 front for areas with dust or splashes.
Which serial port does it have?
One serial port, configured at the factory as RS-485, RS-232 or TTL. Tell us which one you need when you order.
What happens on a power failure?
The UPS with supercapacitors keeps it running long enough to shut Linux down cleanly, so the system and your data are not corrupted.
