Talking about the Touchberry PI 7", can the output operate on a relay directly or should it be amplified. What current per io and total is allowed?

Hello,
The output can operate a relay as long as the power condition are the same (voltage and intensity required). The GPIO's voltage is the same with the one that you are supplying the device (12/24V) and the current is supported by the GPIOs is about 1A more or less.
