What operative system will Raspberry Pi have by default?

Also, I would like to run some python scripts on the RPI and interface to all interfaces. Is there a simple API that i could call from Python scripts to access I/Os?

Our Raspberry PLC-PC range will come with Raspbian iOS installed (Linux) and with bash scripts to control all the I/Os. So that it will be easy to work with all the scripts executing and operating with them under Python.

In short, it can be easily adapted to python programming to perform all the operations that are required and execute the scripts to control the automaton.

I hope i have helped
