"Large attendance of customers from business and university environments, as well as a great interest in our industrial automation equipment based in Arduino and Raspberry, and our management of turnkey projects". Industrial Shields’ sales team is taking stock of the current situation two weeks after the end of the latest IOT Solutions World Congress 2019, the main international exhibition dedicated to industrial applications of the Internet of Things (IoT).
These positive results have been marked, mainly, by the contacts from small and big companies of national and international origin, who want to work with PLC Arduino and the technology based on open source, manufactured and sold by Industrial Shields. From Australia to India, through Germany, Sweden or Spain, a lot of new contacts came up thanks to the congress. Coming from multinational companies, they were interested in developing ambitious projects based in industrial Arduino such as the automatization of a water treatment system with industrial controller Arduino, the control of greenhouses by an industrial PLC and the monitoring of weather stations with programmable logic controllers. Moreover, some customers took advantage of their pass to IOTSWC2019 to visit Industrial Shields’ headquarters, located near Barcelona. Once there, customers could know the facilities of the company as well as the range of products based on open source technology: PLC controllers, OpenMotes and Panel PCs such as 7” Touchberry, which aroused a lot of curiosity among the attendees and is compatible with different kinds of sensors for control and industrial monitoring.
The IOTSWC2019 has been the last fair of the year for Industrial Shields. In 2020, the company plans to participate in different congresses, both nationally (Advanced Factories, Barcelona, from 3 to 5 March) and internationally (Hannover Messe, Germany, from April 20 to 24).
