im using python and im have issues trying to get the right code to get the RS485 communication to function does any one have the code that i may be able to speed up my development,

Morning,
Actually, we do not have any python code for working with the RS485 communication. However, in order to work with the RS485 on our Industrial Shields Raspberry PLC's you must work on the file /dev/tty (SC0 or SC1) depending on the serial that you wish to use. If you make any advance, please let us know.
