What it is
TouchBerry Pi is an industrial panel PC with a touchscreen display, based on Raspberry Pi and Linux. It is designed for local HMI, operator interfaces, process visualization and dashboard applications in industrial environments.
When to use it
- When a local touchscreen operator interface is required
- When running HMI software, Node-RED dashboards or web-based interfaces at the point of operation
- When a Linux-based display device with limited field I/O is sufficient
When not to use it
- When no local screen or operator interface is needed — use a PLC or GateBerry instead
- When more than 10 I/O points are needed at the visualization device — use a Raspberry Pi PLC instead
- When a standalone PLC without a display is sufficient
I/O specifications
All TouchBerry Pi models share the same I/O regardless of screen size. Analog/convertible inputs configurable as 0–10V or 4–20mA. Output 0 supports PWM. RS485 and RS232 share the same serial port — only one can be used at a time.
