What it is
Ardbox is the compact Arduino PLC from Industrial Shields, based on Arduino Leonardo. It provides 20 I/O points in a smaller format than M-Duino, designed for machines, compact control panels and distributed systems where space is limited.
When to choose Ardbox over M-Duino
- When 20 I/O points or fewer are sufficient
- When compact size and limited panel space are a priority
- When cost efficiency matters and ETL certification is not required
When not to use it
- When more than 20 I/O points are needed — use M-Duino instead
- When ETL certification is required — only available on M-Duino 21, 42 and 58
