Raspberry PI 4 Model B 4GB SBC
Raspberry PI 4 Model B 4GB SBC
Raspberry Pi 3 Model B+
More processing power
The Raspberry Pi 4 Model B looks identical to the Pi 3 B at first glance. It is the same size and has much of the same components on board. So what is the difference? The new PI 4 promises three times better performance: in addition to a more powerful and modern processor than PI 3, it also incorporates a large increase in RAM, thanks to jumping from LPDDR2 to LPDDR4.
Unlike Raspberri Pi 3 B +, two of its four USB ports are 3.0, and its two micro HDMI ports offer the possibility of taking 4K images to two different monitors. Perfect for your IoT (Internet of Things) designs.
New to Raspberry Pi?
Raspberry Pi is a single computer board which has a series of connectors, a processor, memory and space for a microSD: all of them allow the user to try different forms of "entertainment''. It can be a desktop computer, a tablet, or even a retro console, and we can install a wide variety of operating systems inside. It has been developed to promote and assist in the teaching of programming, computer science and robotics. It is also an excellent starting point for the development of projects for IoT (Internet of Things).
The low cost and ‘plug and play’ nature of PI result in a board accessible to everyone and with multiple connectivity options. PI is a perfect experimental tool, whether you want to use it as a desktop computer, media center, server or monitoring/security device at home. There are no limits. The operating systems Linux-based Raspbian and Ubuntu run on PI with full access to free software and downloads. Moreover, there is a great Pi community out there —look at DesignSpark, the design engineer community at RS.
