Am I forced to use Arduino IDE to upload my sketches into my PLC?

Hello,

i would like to know the possibilities I have to upload an sketch to my Ethernet Arduino PLC. Arduino IDE is fine, but it is really slow and as it is an application it cannot be automatizied. I would like something that with an script I could upload an sketch.

Of course not. There are many ways to upload an sketch to Ethernet Arduino PLC, although the most frequently used option is Arduino IDE. I let you some possibilities of different ways of uploading an sketch:
