10 IO digital - wiring digital output with external PSU

Avatar

Hi, I am interested in buying an ESP32 based 10io digital PLC. I would like to control LED lighting that runs on 12V AC (not DC). It is unclear to me how I can connect a 12V AC V_com to this unit. I have an external LED driver (12Vac). I want to use PWM to dim the LED.

Does this work?

LED PSU load ------- LED ------ I0.0 (is this optocoupled?)

LED PSU neutral ---------------- GNDCOM1

PLC PSU + ------------------------- Vdc

PLC PSU - ------------------------- GND

Dear Sander,

The 10IOs Digital ESP32 allows you to work with DC or AC voltage in the device's inputs, as you can see on the UserGuide. Although that, this PLC does not have PWM outputs, maybe we must choose another option. We do not see clear the wiring that you comment. Can you send us the details to [email protected] please?

Thank you,
