Industrial Shields has strengthened its presence in the German market by signing a new distribution agreement with DOLD Mechatronik. From now on, the German company is distributing Industrial Shields’ products -PLCs (programmable logic controllers), Panel PCs and OpenMotes, based on open source hardware such as industrial Arduino or Raspberry Pi- in its area of influence.
DOLD Mechatronik is an online-shop for mechanical and electronic components and systems. Since 2009, they have been supplying and supporting customers in industry and trade throughout Europe.
Industrial Shields designs, manufactures and sells its own open source electronic devices for industrial automation. Founded in 2012 and based in Barcelona, its main goal is to become the leading manufacturer of open source equipment for industrial use. The tech company aims to provide its customers with a high degree of competitiveness and technological innovation and it is already a reference in its sector.
