ProView is an Open Source Process Control System that is commonly programmed graphically. This graphical interface provides very intuitive, easy and fast programming. It can also be programmed with high-level languages such as C, C++, Java or FORTRAN. It is the first Open Source Process Control System that can work with oriented objects. So it is directly programmed with simple function blocks and simple signals. A typical Proview system consists of one process control system and one or more operator stations. It is easy to configure one operating station to become the HMI-system of several control systems.

Possible communication protocols are Ethernet(UDP and TCP) and Serial(RS232, RS485 and I2C). There are many ways to communicate a PLC with this software and get the results in a really intuitive way.

In this example, it is shown a complete visualization of a hydraulics installation. It shows the level of the tanks, temperatures, graphs…

It is more intuitive to see an interface like the one in the photo than see a lot of parameters just represented as numbers.

This example shows a Processing of sensors+motors. As it is shown it can be configured with “Wait”, Timers… It also makes arithmetical functions to combine signals… There are many tools to program all kinds of processes in a really precise way.
